Doing an art journal is a way to express yourself and you don’t have to be an artist to do it. One art journal you can start is a favorite quotes journal. Here are five quotes that are some of my favorites and the way I decorated around them.
- “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” -Albert Einstein This quote reminds us to learn about the world around us. Here I used images of flowers and blue paper for the quote. Then to decorate further I added Prima Marketing paper flowers and Paper studio butterfly and flower stickers.
2. “The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” -Albert Einstein This journal entry was inspired by the word curiosity. Our lives would not progress if it weren’t for curiosity. I used images I found on thegraphicfairy.com. I love their images and when you join you can use and download images.
3. “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” -Walt Disney Move forward and always learn from your past. The images I used were to reflect on the curiosity of nature. I learn from nature everyday!
4. “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.” -Buddha
Learn from your past but do not dwell in it. Dream for a future but don’t count on it. Live for today and enjoy today. For this journal entry I stamped the paper first with StazOn Saddle Brown stamping ink, then I added the images, flowers and quote.

We all need to be Buddhas; live in the present and spread kindness.
